Cloze Exercises
Teachers use cloze exercises to practice reading, grammar, and vocabulary. Students read a text with missing words and fill each gap from the context.
The exercises below are ready to use with a class. Open one and students type the missing words. Play with hints gives a word bank: students choose the missing words from the list instead of typing them.
Need a text on your own topic? The cloze text creator lets you paste a text, choose the gaps, then share the exercise with students.
